Living Examples
''You are the salt of the earth;but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.''You are the light of the world.A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.''Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.''Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
Matthew5:13-16
I like the statement he gave about ppl dont normally call non believers''O..non believers like that 1 a??''But what normally ppl judge are christians...we often hear ppl say''O..Christians like that 1 a??like this 1 a??''Wonder why?Because Christians normally are those who are supposed to do good, dont fight,no foul language and stuffs...I can't help but to agree with this statement.Salt is meant to be salty,if its not salty..then it wont be salt...then whats the use of it.Likewise light is the same, when u switch on the lights in a pitch dark room, then u can see everything. We are called to be salt and light of the world,a good example,a role model to ppl around us.
''Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word,in conduct,in love,in spirit,in faith,in purity.''
1 Timothy 4:12-16

God spoke to me
_________________________
Today was a really hectic day for me as I woke up at 7 in the morning knowing that today is gonna be a tough day for me....because
- I am to song lead in the chinese ministry and i dont really perform well in it
- I am to prepare a surprise birthday for joshua and jeremy
- I am to teach the tamil kids bm for tamil tuition
- I am to song lead at DAyouth
- I am to make sure all my members are here today
- I am to produce a video with the team entitled''Directionless lives''
- I am to make sure they have something to munch on/eat if we were to stay back for the video..(and we did...we had maggi and rootbeer....^^)
Extra struggles on that day...
- I sweat a lot during the chinese song leading..and it wasn't a pretty sight as usual...
- I got about 12 tamil students in my class..and then later 3 joined in..thats a total of 15 kids...
- I dont think i performed well when I worship lead in DAyouth
- 2 of our members were absent...have to think of a different idea for the video...
- We decided to stay back for the video cuz i promised my members MCD...in the end we can't cuz its not fair for the other groups....and I have to go home and grab two packets of Maggi for them and 3 bottles of rootbeer for everyone..
- some of my members doesn't understand the meaning of the word ''serious'' when it comes to video shooting...I know I have been a lame leader and stuffs and sometimes crack jokes with them...but they should really differentiate between focus and play..
- true enough...as they were not serious with it...the video camera battery went dead...and i have to ask my mom to get the charger for me...
- I was held responsible for my team members going home late that night...
As i list down all of these things here...God is really testing me in one thing''to persevere...to be patient..''Like what we were taught in RBS that christians are crazy ppl...and after going through all these...I think I am...being a christian is not as easy as eating ice cream where its so cooling and sweet and stuffs..NO!!being a christian is like drinking ginseng tea or some bitter soup...its hard at first...but in the end..it benefits us...Being a teacher is not easy as well...to take care of 15 std2-3 tamil students for half an hour and we have to really drill them...really DRILL them to teach them...i have been tested of my patience a lot of times..but i learned to calm myself and do it for the Lord..not for me...but for the Lord..for the Tamil kids....Being a leader is not easy as well...sure I do sometimes wonder why is my team like this or like that..and why he or she(ppl from other groups)not in my team??well...this is how ELITE was born...we are to slowly build Elite up as a group and not by individuals...As it is written in ROMANS12:5
''so we,though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another''
Each of the members plays an important role in building up the team...and we have to be patience with one another....I love the idea of changing leaders every 3 months as we get to see leaders slowly being ''developed''...to continue to build DAGC for Gods glory...Thats all for my ''CRAZY SUNDAY''...it indeed was crazy..but i benefited from it...we finished our video and everyone was happy...and exhausted...^^
''Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us,let us use them:if prophecy,in proportion to our faith; If service,in our serving;he who teaches,in his teaching;he who exhorts,in his exhortation;he who contributes,in liberality;he who gives aid, with zeal;he who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.'' Romans 12:6-8
a dissapointing match...
just when Man U defeated Porto and advanced to the semi finals of the champions league...all of us were high..totally nuts...and yesterday..Sir Alex fielded a disorganized side...lets start with the formation shall we??

ATTENTION PPL!!
1. No Breakfast
§ People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level. This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.
2. Overeating
It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.
3. Smoking
It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.
4. High Sugar Consumption
Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.
5. Air Pollution
The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling polluted air decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain efficiency.
6. Sleep Deprivation
Sleep allows our brain to rest. Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the death of brain cells.
7. Head covered while sleeping
Sleeping with the head covered, increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.
8. Working your brain during illness
Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.
9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts
Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.
10. Talking Rarely (thats why u hear me often talk lame jokes...now u know y??)
Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The main causes of liver damage are:
1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late are main cause.
2. Not urinating in the morning.
3. Too much eating.
4. Skipping breakfast.
5. Consuming too much medication.
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and artificial sweetener.
7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil.. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.
8. Consuming raw (overly done) foods also add to the burden of liver.
9. Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.
We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to "schedule."
Because:
Evening at 9 - 11pm : is the time for eliminating unnecessary/toxic chemicals (detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on health.
Evening at 11pm - 1am: is the detoxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 1 - 3am: detoxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 3 - 5am: detoxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the detoxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.
Morning 5 - 7am: detoxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel.
Morning 7 - 9am: absorption of nutrients in the
small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30am, for those who are sick. Breakfast before 7:30am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9 - 10am rather than no meal at all.
Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals. Aside from that, midnight to 4:00 am is the time when the bone marrow produces blood. Therefore, have a good sleep and don't sleep late.

Personality test
Your personality is Sanguine Choleric
Christian
I'm whispering "I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven."
When I say... "I am a Christian" I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.
When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak And need His strength to carry on.
When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed And need God to clean my mess.
When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not claiming to be perfect, My flaws are far too visible But, God believes I am worth it.
When I say... "I am a Christian" I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches So I call upon His name.
When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not holier than thou, I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow!
Share this with somebody who already has this understanding, as reinforcement. But more importantly, share this with those who do not have a clear understanding of what it means to be a Christian, so that the myth that Christians think they are "perfect" or "better than others" can be dispelled.

sharing time
Often times we struggle in life...there are ppl who cares about us..and there are those who sometimes try to make things difficult for us..or irritates us and we juz dont like them..
I have also been struggling with all these...everytime when someone offended me..i tend to talk bad bt them..or just hate them for a long period of time..but I believe that people can change..and they really can...and i changed..^^..I always remind myself everyime when I am not happy or pleased with anything...I will just have to always depend on God..For He is always there...trying to reach out for us..but sometimes we ignore Him...God works in creative ways..through ppl...through circumstances...objects..and even...Food^^...well...I can really feel Gods presence everytime i need Him...All we have to do is just believe that He is there...and guess what???He is..^^
Talking bt forgiveness...we are made to be like Christ...to always be like Him in every possible way we can..God sent Jesus Christ to come down on earth to die on the cross for our sins...He was brutally flocked and whipped as He suffered His way to the cross...Cant you see that God loved us so much...that He is willing to suffer for us??He can just easily call for angels to help Him or even just wipe them off away just like ABC..but no...He chosed to die for our sins...Thats the reason why we are now redeemed and we must be grateful for that by being just like Him...we should always forgive and forget..Generally its easy to forgive but its hard to forget....but as people of Christ...we need to try...to do our best for the Lord...
